Help Clearing these DTC's?

Hello all, I was wondering if someone could help with clearing some of these DTC’s? or pointing me in the right direction. I’ve searched the individual codes on here and found a few helpful threads but just want to make sure I’m in the right place.

For clarification, my vehicle is a 2014 Focus St. Sync 3 upgrade. as well as retrofitted Steering Wheel, Cluster, and center console (HVAC) from a 2017 Focus St.

Thank you for any and all help

Did you mean to include a picture showing the DTCs? Nothing came through.

OOPS! my appologies

The Uxxxx codes are issues with module configurations, like the asbuilt is incorrect. Regarding code B112D, it refers to an Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) Power Supply Short to Battery issue.

Okay. I’ll see if i can pull the codes.
I know APIM u0121 is lost communication to ABS, and i believe APIM u0256 is lost communication with FCIM.

The B112D says rear defrost LED short/open circuit

ACM U2101 is invalid config.

Youre saying the asbuilt is wrong? How would I go about correcting it? I assume pull the as built thats in there now, but how would i cross reference if the apim is upgraded to sync 3?

Do you see a GPS loss of signal icon on you APIM? This can cause lost communication to ABS.

Did you adjust the asbuilts for the new modules? The FCIM needs the VIN loaded in for your 2014 Focus.

I’ll have to check the gps signal on the apim. I’ve never noticed an icon for it but I know my clock won’t set to gps time. I just thought that might be a clock master thing and never bothered bc i use apple car play.

I have adjusted for new modules when I installed them. The sync3, steering wheel, and cluster i think i did in 2020. The console and hvac I did last year.

I’ll have to see how to load the vin into the fcim

Basically, I’ve always had persistant DTC’s but everything worked normally and there were no dash lights.
But for whatever reason my accessport can’t communicate with the car now so i can’t uninstall for inspection and my first step is to try and get these codes cleared.

That needs to be fixed. It affects mapping in CP/AA.
APIM as built should show 7D0-01-01 xx28 xxxx xxxx
2014 Focus is C1CMA.

As far as the FCIM…
|7A7-02-01 **** **** **xx VIN (1-5)
7A7-02-02 **** **** **xx VIN (6-10)
7A7-02-03 **** **** **xx VIN (11-15)
7A7-02-04 **** xx VIN (16-17)

You need to convert your VIN to HEX code. Windows calculator can do that. One letter at a time, Follow the format above.
or
Look in your BCM.

726-09-01 **** **** **xx VIN # VIN #: (character 1-5 of VIN in ASCII converted to Hex)
726-09-02 **xx VIN # VIN #: (character 6 of VIN in ASCII converted to Hex)
726-10-01 **** **** **xx VIN # VIN #: (character 7-11 of VIN in ASCII converted to Hex)
726-10-02 **xx VIN # VIN #: (character 12 of VIN in ASCII converted to Hex)
726-11-01 **** **** **xx VIN # VIN #: (character 13-17 of VIN in ASCII converted to Hex)

I don’t think I can edit my FCIM. The only place I found it was in the service procedures tab.
I changed the Clock master setting and it seemed to fix the clock working, but I still have the same DTC’s

Interesting that the APIM has an issue with communications with the FCIM but there are no DTC’s for the FCIM.
When you clear the DTC’s then this comes back?
Try resetting the APIM with FORScan…

The ACM DTC is an asbuilt setting that is wrong.

I’m gunna try tomorrow or Tuesday. I spent like 9 hours on the asbuilt pages fully braking down my data and cross referencing what I have now with another sync3 st2 and my original data.

Yes, These 4 dtc’s are constant.

I’ve tried this a bunch of times. It always comes back. What I did learn while breaking my as built down, I have a lot of settings that has DAB enabled. Which from my understanding and other research on here, isn’t supposed to be enabled on NA units.

Okay. here’s the DTC’s left after loading the revised as-builts to APIM, ACM, IPC, and BdyCM…

This is new…run the Camera LIN procedure for the camera/BCM. This is in the FORScan Tools menu.

This is new…don’t know why this would be.

Can you post your APIM and ACM asbuilts…

For sure, I will post tomorrow.

It went away after I cleared codes after taking the capture, but I’ve seen it a few times in the past. It likes to play peek-a-boo I guess.

This one I’d imagine is because I have an aftermarket back up camera. So I don’t have a module.

If it’s not persistent don’t worry about it but keep an eye on it. OCS modules tend to do this a bit also.

Yep.

Here’s the as-builts, as well as the dtc’s i get when i initially connect forscan, and after i clear.
