Help updating BCM firmware.... 2019 F150

This is my first post on this site, I just discovered it, it seems like this is the spot to get the help i need.

I recently have done a bunch of mods to my 2019 f150 XLT. One of the mods was replacing the BCM. I have (2) replacement BCM’s. I have a 2018 limited from a donor truck i pulled parts from that came with a key programmed, and a 2019 platinum BCM i bought because i thought it would be better to use a module from my trucks exact year to eliminate any issues that might arise from using a truck of a different year. Before I got the PATS reset I hooked up the 2019 BCM. When i hit the start button I was not getting the “required no key detected” error for a PATS reset. I then tried the 18 BCM and I was also not getting the no key error. But when I hit the start button i noticed the shifter lock would release and i could move the shifter into different gears, this did not happen with the 19 BCM. The lack of no key detected error turned out to not be related to the BCM. So i figured out the issue and then got the no key detected error with both.

Yesterday I had the mobile locksmith come out. I had the 19 BCM hooked up, and he tried to preform a PATS reset, but he could not get it to work because there was no way to get the truck in ignition mode, I did not have a programed key for that BCM and the truck would not stay “Awake” long enough to complete the procedure. My next step was to install the 18 BCM, I did have a single programmed key for that, which allowed the truck to enter ignition mode with the key, and he was able to complete the PATS procedure. I now have 2 programed keys and the truck will start.

The problem Im having is that whenever i press the start button, foot off of the brake pedal the truck starts. I cant enter ignition on engine off mode for forscan programming. And bc of all the mods I have installed all at once, I have a ton of programming to do. I do not believe it is a brake position switch problem, the light on the start button does not turn green unless i actually press the brake, and the oscilloscope in PID in forscan shows no activity when the brake is not pressed. I believe this is an issue that has to do with whatever was going on before the pats reset when i hit the start button and the shifter would unlock. I cant find anything in am as built compare tool that would cause this between the two modules. I believe this might be a firmware difference in start logic between 18 and 19. Is there a way for me to load 2019 firmware on my 2018 BCM?

Thanks
