Interrogator can't read my APIM and not creating XML File

Hi everyone, I’ve retrofitted Sync 3 to my 2015 Focus (Sync 2), I’ve bought it on eBay complete kit. APIM, Screen, Ford GPS Antenna with extension Cable, Ford USB Hub (2usb), I’ve managed to code it to the car and everything works as it should be. Now I want to update software as atm is running 3.4 21194. When I created USB stick using SYN3 Updater, I’ve installed in USB hub waited until Installation Complete showed up, plugged USB to laptop, clicked on Open Interrogator Log, and this is what I’ve got.

Looks like Interrogator can’t read my APIM
Also when I try to upload log, new pop up window is opening but there is no XML File to upload, is Interrogator not working as it should be or is there something wrong with my APIM

Those are the stickers from the APIM, back and front.

According to the APIM database from the website this APIM version is no MY20 and is 64GB with Nav.

Do you have Forscan and an adapter?

Yes I do have ForScan and cable.

Try reading the APIM model from Forscan.

Ok, will try after work as can’t do atm and let you know.

Okay. Forscan should be able to read the APIM’s model. If it’s not MY20 you should be fine.

This is what ForScan is showing

and I’ve checked on the website it’s confirming that is 64GB NAV MY20-NO. But what is interesting that in Syn3 is showing APIM Model: Unknown and in APIM AsBulid is showing BLANK in every secction. Also why is not creating XML File so I can upload to website and add info to database.

You should be fine then if you decide to reformat it.
Just save the asbuilt you currently have.

Well according to setup in Syn3… Updating firmware from 3.4.21194 to 3.4.23188 and udate maps from F11 to F13 Syn3 is changing Install Mode from reformat to downgrade. So not sure what to do, process update in donwngrade mode or manually change it to reformat

You are not updating firmware, Sync3 is not firmware.

And yes, choose downgrade.
