Local Hazard Information Ford Focus MY2019

Hello:

I would like to know if it is possible to activate this feature using Forscan. If not, is it possible for Ford to activate it later via an update?

Thank you.

What region are you in? This feature is usually associated with NAV and a connected phone in the US.

I’m from Europe with Nav. Here MY21q2 have it.

Any news?

Thanks

I am not conversant with the systems available in EU, although I know they exist, but in the US (NA) this is done either via Sirius Travel Link or the newer traffic services via Sync 4, both are paid services.

Thanks for your answer. I’ll stay tunned.

The local hazard information settings for Sync 3 are at:
7D0-08-02 x*xx xxxx xxxx
Driver Only MCS (DMCS), Wheel Count Message (WCM), Local Hazard Information (LHI)
0=DMCS Disabled, WCM New (27A), LHI Off
1=DMCS Disabled, WCM New (27A), LHI IPC Support Only
2=DMCS Disabled, WCM New (27A), LHI IPC + HUD Support
3=DMCS Disabled, WCM New (27A), LHI reserved
4=DMCS Disabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI Off
5=DMCS Disabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI IPC Support Only
6=DMCS Disabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI IPC + HUD Support
7=DMCS Disabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI reserved
8=DMCS Enabled, WCM New (27A), LHI Off
9=DMCS Enabled, WCM New (27A), LHI IPC Support Only
A=DMCS Enabled, WCM New (27A), LHI IPC + HUD Support
B=DMCS Enabled, WCM New (27A), LHI reserved
C=DMCS Enabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI Off
D=DMCS Enabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI IPC Support Only
E=DMCS Enabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI IPC + HUD Support
F=DMCS Enabled, WCM Legacy (91), LHI reserved

If you have a ‘0’ set here, then try ‘1’ or ‘2’. You can see the pattern…

This may or may not work based on the services available for your vehicle, etc.
