hello all i was hoping i could pick your brains about what i am doing wrong on my ford fusion MKZ cluster swap. original cluster part# HS7T-10849-GE donor HP5T-10849-CE. when i check as built data they are configured differently. i saved the original as built data from my factory cluster and i tried to load it into my new cluster but it fails saying i dont have the proper security something or another.
Might want to look at http://2gfusions.net , there are a few threads there about doing this conversion.
The site hasn’t been updated for HTML 5 so you may need to use and older browser like say Waterfox Protable v20 to have it reder correctly.
I was able to get it swapped but I have an issue with fuel level. I was hoping someone could help here. I found this little post on another page I am just not sure how to proceed. Would I have to modify my as built to do this since my ab says 2 senders. New ipc seems to be missing a few lines as well. New and old cluster part numbers attached.
