I have a 2012 Focus Titanium. Have it for 1 year. My car had Sync 1, so first thing in mind was retrofit a Sync 3. So far so good. Managed to make everything working fine. After that i buy a china rear camera, worked fine.
But i wanted active guidelines on Sync3.
Now, i get an original RVC from a Focus 3.5. My car dosn’t have a IPMB Module. So, to make the original camera worked, i need LIN bus. So, my BCM dosn’t have a LIN ( at least i was told so, old BCM BV6N 14A073 ) so i get the BCM from the same car as RVC, F1FT-14A073-EG. Make it worked on my car, update it to EK calibration.
Now, in Forscan it shows no “LIN New Module Initialization”, so i was unable to make the camera work as i want. The new camera sent image to Sync, with little car in the right and parking sensor show on that.
I purchased UCDS, get an EXT Licence, and i was able to make a LIN Initialization, and RVC Calibration.
Now, i have a static lines over the image, but still no active guidelines.
And the big problem, is that BCM show DTC B12BD 55 2F camera not configured…
You probably don’t have the steering angle sensor on your SCCM. In most Fords it’s an additional module that snaps on and plugs into the SCCM. Your PSCM might show values when you turn the wheel but that’s not what it’s looking for.
So, my PSCM only has 1 block of 4 bits editable. I update it to last version, but still the same.
I activate under BCM HMI present : with HMI ( or something like that ), did another LIN new module initialization, and RVC calibration under UCDS, and no more “camera not configured” DTC under BCM.
Ignition off/on, put in reverse, and zoom button is functional.
