Hi sorry this might not be in the correct section.
Ever since doing my audio upgrade i get this message on the dash parking malfunction. So no parking sensors. Looking on forscan i get dtc front and rear sounder open circuit. Nit sure if unplugged something or messed with the asbuilt and changed something i shouldnt have. Looking at the asbuilts on here im getting so confused as seems like alot of things have the name parking.
Can someone point me in the right direction for any asbuilts that would affect my problem so i can check all is ok before i start ripping the dash out.
Vehicle is a uk ford transit custom MSRT 2023.

What audio upgrade did you do, like aftermarket? If so, then the parking sounder or other probably get disconnected and not rewired.
Hi no its still the standard sync 3. Just upgraded speakers installed amps and new wiring etc. Trouble is this error message has happened since wiring it all in and playing on forscan so not sure whats happened.
Out of interest do the sounder wires run through the sync 3 at all in any way?

Would you know of any settings i could have changed in forscan that could cause an open circuit on the sounders. Ive gone through it time and time again but dont want to ruin it even further.
Wow just looked at the link you sent. Here in the uk it cost £189 for a week or £85 for a day.
Can you send a pic or info of the FORScan page showing the sounder DTC’s? Codes.
I’m not clear on what you are describing. Is it the parking chimes for the driver or the exterior sounder for pedestrians that is the issue? The interior chimes are using the APIM/ACM, the exterior sounder has it’s own system and amplifier.

Hi F150Chief. So ive screenshot all Dtc and the asbuilt to go with them.
When i say sounder its the seperate small speaker that goes off when you go close to obstacles. They connect to the front and rear bumpers. Parking sensors.

Did you change anything in the asbuilts when you did the audio work? I see open circuits on speakers, but we can tell the ACM to ignore those. The incompatible configuration for the ACM is concerning.
It looks like the ABS DTC was for low battery voltage.
Clear the DTC’s with FORScan and see what comes back.
I did clear them before i took these pictures. This is what come up after clearing.
I did change a few things after audio install but stupid me didnt back anything up. And cant remember now what i changed.
I remember activating rear speakers fader and changed speakers.

That will have all the original asbuilt values.
Thanks for replying. Ive tried loading original asbuilt from forscan but it literally made it into a standard van i had to go theough it all and turn things back on like hill assist etc.
I just wish id backed up the data before messing about.

For the ACM, yours is an NK2T-18K810-LA, which is listed as FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM MK8 RADIO CD HEAD UNIT NK2T-18K810-LA 2018-2024. This radio uses a different asbuilt layout than the 18D832/18D818 versions.
What does returning the OEM configuration to the ACM do?
Does it affect your audio modifications?
What DTC’s are present when the ACM is returned to OEM?

Are these disconnected or the wiring cut? This is the DTC…
Also…The DTC for the ABS indicates a possible HS-CAN Buss issue with low voltage on the buss or supplied to the module. This will also affect the IPC and othe modules. You need to check thru the wiring and see if there are pinched wires or something connected to the HS-CAN buss other than OEM. By chance did you install an aftermarket device that plugs into the CANBUSS?
So the sounders have not been disconnected or cut to my knowledge.
The only wires i cut are the speaker wires on the black plug that goes into the acm and replaced all speaker wires with my own.
As for adding aftermarket devices that plug into canbus i have no idea what you mean.
Ive had an immobiliser fitted by a company and ive changed all headlight, foglight and interior bulbs to led.
Ok so ive loaded factory asbuilt on forscan for the Acm,Abs,and the apim modules. As far as i can tell from the cabin so far nothing has changed that ive noticed. The parking malfunction is till there. Alot of numbers and letters have changed in the asbuilt no idea whats its done. Lucky ive taken photos so i can change back if need too.
