Please Help me fix this stubborn DACMC DTC Code: U2024 - Control Module Cal-Config Data

My car is fine but for some reason Forscan keeps showing a DACMC DTC code and it won’t go no matter what. I have tried clearing the DTC codes and Resetting the DACMC module but that hasn’t helped.
I would appreciate if someone helps me fix the issue.

Car: 2017 Ford Fusion Sport 2.7L AWD
Sound system: SONY
Country of Origin: USA
Current region: EU
APIM: 32 gb (NA)
Last factory sync: 3.0.23219 (With NAV)
Current sync: 3.42210 (With NAV)

DTC error:

Code: U2024 - Control Module Cal-Config Data
Status (-0A):
 - DTC Present at Time of Request
 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
Module: Digital Audio Control Module C

DACMC module info:

DACMC - Digital Audio Control Module C
Part number: HS7T-19C107-XD
Calibration level: HS7T-19C107-XE
Strategy : HR3T-14F539-AA

Current DACMC asBuilt is factory and hasn’t been changed at all:

7D5-01-01: 0800 00E6
7D5-01-01: 01E0

Hmmm I just noticed the there’s a difference between Part number and Calibration Level.
Part number: HS7T-19C107-XD
Calibration level: HS7T-19C107-XE
is that normal or that could be the root cause of the problem?

I have this same issue. According the Oasis that DTC says the wrong AB calibration setting is set for the DACMC. I have not been able to find the correct one for my truck either. I have never seen or heard of a calibration tool for it.

so basically our systems think our Factory asBuilts for DACMC are wrong? My asBuilt is purely factory and I haven’t changed anything related to it

I don’t think Forscan can do this. I may ask them to add it if they can.

Thanks so much for this. By the way, Reprogramming the module is basically just ReWriting my factory asBuilt again?

Yes, If you swapped ACM’s and the AB bytes are the same than yea pretty straight forward.

Thank you, I will reprogram it and let you know how it goes

What version ForScan are you using? 2.3.66 is the release version, 2.4.18 is the beta edition.

I use the 2.4 since I have a paid subscription.

I am on 2.3.66 for now as I am still learning how to use the program but I hope to buy the paid license soon. I am still afraid of Firmware updates because of the risk to bricking a module

That’s the right calibration/firmware for a 2017-2018 US ACM with a DACMC built into it (which the Sport, Ti/Plat Hybrid and Ti/Plat Energi have).
Factory was HS7T-14D099-AD, last released was HS7T-19C107-XE.
The strategy looks off.
Have you changed the region on this car?

@warlock12118 It’s a US car that was sold to EU. I didn’t personally change/flash any modules, perhaps previous owner did? When I bought it nav had already been changed to EU but trimmed version as Apim 32gb.

Btw I noticed something strange on APIM factory ab. Region is 5253 (Serbia) but Car was made in US
7D0-02-01 5253 0101 C041

Im this case do you recommend I change the strategy? I hope that won’t brick my APIM

Changing the ACM strategy isn’t going to brick the APIM, they’re separate modules.

Sorry I meant to say won’t that brick my car’s Audio and Noise Cancellation features if any mistakes happen during the process?

It shouldn’t.
Keep in mind the DACMC in the Sport is there to ADD fake engine noise (they do this in the Mustang and the Focus ST as well) through the door speaker, not to make things “quieter” (the ANC is branded by Ford as Active Noise Control, not Cancellation, in the Hybrid/Energi it is used to mask what Ford used to refer to as “unusual sounds from the eCVT powertrain”).
There are actually ForScan setting to disable the fake engine noise.
