Recurrent DTC codes in PSCM 2015 Mustang

Good morning all,

So my 2015 Mustang is throwing intermittent DTCs in the PSCM concerning communication issues with invalid data recieved from the ABS and/or ECU/PCM. Codes U0401 and U0415.

I can clear the codes but they will eventually come back. One or the other or both will come back. There is no CEL with these codes. I dont know any driving issues. I have ran the self check on the ABS, PSCM, and, PCM which comes up empty.

Any ideas where I should focus my attention?
My thoughts would be maybe the ground for the PSCM or the connectors.

Wiring at the PSCM, or rack. Look for corrosion inside the connectors themselves. If you haven’t done anything with FORScan it is likely that.

Also look at the input shaft boot.
If that gets cracked or pulls away it lets water get into the PSCM and corrodes the circuit board.

FWIW I was able to get to the network connector on the power steering module. It did not look corroded but took a brush and cleaned it as good as I could. Put some dielectric grease in the fitting and plugged and unplugged it several times.

I still get the error but much less frequent. Probably will take it into a mechanic to have it looked at. There is not a lot of room under the car to get a good visual inspection of anything.
