REPLACING STOCK SCREEN AND APIM FIESTA 2018

Hi everyone,

long story short , last september i purchased a Fiesta 2018 with the screen as shown in the photo.

Its a German market Fiesta and now its running in Greece. Features available, hill assist, parking assist, rear camera, and radars all around the car.

i want to change the screen and install all components related , gps, navi, 8’’ monitor, new apim etc.

once everything has been gathered, then its forscan time.

Although i m good with computers and retrofiting these parts should not be a problem to me, (its not a wet belt replacement) i m still trying to figure out the correct part Numbers that i need to purchase. That includes the wiring, adapters that might be needed.

I know there’s a guide and a youtube video of a Transit screen conversion but its not quite helpful.

Any ideas on which parts are the correct ones etc and of course , forscan programming at a later stage would absolutely be great.

It would sort of depend if your vehicle was running sync already or not, you can check the settings of the system and see if you’re on sync. If you are, all you should need to do is plug in the screen GN15-18B955-FE and install the updated version of sync. If you don’t have sync , then it’s a bit more complicated. From what I could gather in the Transit videos, you would need to replace the screen and apim, then reprogram accordingly in Forscan to suit your vehicle. You could use any pre 2020 APIM and it should work. You could probably do Sync 4 if you wanted to as well, but that would require a different screen and a bit more work.
