I upgraded my 2013 focus st from sync 1 to sync 3. Everything works correctly except the oem reversing camera. My question is, I installed the “as built” file from a 2017 focus st before I connected my oem reversing camera. Could this be why the camera doesn’t work? Do I need to reinstall the “as built” file now the camera is connected for it to work?
It depends. What harnesses did you use to do the upgrade. And what exactly are you experiencing with that camera. Pictures would be useful.
When I put the car in reverse, the screen goes blue with a cross symbol in top left of the screen. It then goes black with a message saying camera not working.

So is anything plugged into the yellow RCA plug?
Yes the reversing camera from the oem camera cable
Did you use an adapter to make that connection to the yellow RCA? I ask because i have read that the people were having connection issues with that adapter.
