Looking for a stable working version for Sirius XM Travel Link on sync3 updater
They are all stable for Travel Link and Travel Link+.
It broke mine going from 3.0 to 3.4 it says not available now
That’s going to be a master reset and a call to Sirius since its tied to your ACM subscription.
Personally, I have Travel Link because a 5 year came with the car my ACM came out of and the owner of the donor had never done the trial subscription, Google maps with AA works better.
Gotcha. So I replaced my APIM (3.0) built in and bought a new APIM with 3.4.23188 built in via All Things Sync. I’m guessing this is the problem. But I do get the satellite audio channels just not Sirius Travel Link. I’ll try Sirius. I also downgraded to 3.4.20351 saying on the forums that it was stable version but I’m guessing it could be the ACM. Maybe if I put my previous APIM back and upgrade through cyanlabs it’ll work again due to possible ACM matching.
Thank you
Odds are the APIM is set to X40 for Traffic plus when your ACM only has Travel link. This is an AB change to revert the setting back to the older option. Calling Sirius will do nothing for you until the AB in the APIM is correct. After that is corrected it should work fine and you should not need to call Sirius.
How do I do that? Or should I put my previous APIM back in.
Much appreciated
How do I do that? I would love to make this work I really like the weather forecast and weather map more than anything. I miss it! Thank you very much if you could help me with this.
I think I might be better off putting back my previous APIM and then upgrade from there to 3.4.20351.
Thank you

If you put your old APIM back in it would work.
To change AB settings and use the new APIM you need to use Forscan and have an OBDLink EX adapter. You would than go in and change the As Built values(AB) to match your ACM capabilities. This is where the problem lies. Once the new APIM is configured correctly it will work fine.
I would start by researching Forscan.
Thanks Bill. One more question. If I put my old APIM back is upgrading to 3.4.20351 ok or can I go up to 3.4.23188 without losing travel link?
Thanks again
As long as it is not a 2020+ APIM than you should be fine upgrading it. If it is the original APIM than it’s probally a J series which is fine.
