Sync 1 to sync 3 no Bluetooth audio

I upgraded from sync 1 to sync 3 in my 2017 ford mustang and everything is working good other than when I connect my phone theirs no audio my radio audio works just my Bluetooth does not the apim module was manufactured in 2019 please help. Thank you

Have you tried turning the volume up whilst in a call?

Yes I turned up the volume on my phone and the car while I was on a call as well.

Where did you get the custom AB from that was put into the APIM?

Sorry but what do you mean by ab I got my screen and APIM module off eBay from donor cars.

This is an APIM issue, not the ACM, which has no BT capability. Review your APIM asbuilt and your phone pairing.

When you say the asbuilt what do you mean by that and Ive disconnected my phone then added it back and it connects just no sound even though it shows the volume going up. Sorry again I’m very new to this type of stuff.

You might want to check that whatever wiring kit used included these connections for the APIM connector. to the ACM.

Did your phone audio work on Sync 3.4.19200? Or did it never work once you did the Sync 1 to 3 upgrade? Most of the kits have the proper wiring, even for the X40 upgrade.

I just went straight from sync 1 to sync 3 and sync 1 worked but sync 3 Bluetooth audio hasn’t worked yet

I’m sorry but what is the apim as built I know what the apim is but what is the as built sorry.

Is that with for scan and a obd connector
