Sync 3.0.23219 and 3.0.23220 Installation Notes for 10" Displays.
Read this document fully before starting any actions. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions as outlined below.
Overview
Ford has released two versions of the latest updates for Sync 3.0, one for the 6 and 8" displays, and one for the 10" displays, specifically for Pre-18.5 MY Lincoln Navigators equipped with Sync 3.0. This prevents the 10" display from defaulting to the 8" format when the Sync app is installed and provides the correct driver for the 10" display. Other than the different Sync app files, the installation procedure uses the same support files (for NA vehicles) but does differ between the NAV (32GB) and non-NAV (8GB) versions. This procedure can be used for other regions, but the appropriate files will need to be used. Note that the NA non-NAV (8GB) APIM is the only one that requires the 2-step installation outlined below.
These files are:
JR3T-14G381-AY for Sync 3.0.23219 for the 6 and 8" displays.
JL7T-14G381-BR for Sync 3.0.23220 for the 10" displays.
