I have the common issues of the Ford 22251 update. When I try to use the Sync3 updater after about 10 minutes I get Error code VER_ERR08. I have performed the soft reset 2 times in a row and also used the interrogator tool. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate any help someone can give.

The actions you are describing won’t solve anything, they are just pre-work for applying the solution (which you do not mention).
So, what’s the story here?. If you have an interrogator log, post it.

Are you able to perform a master reset ?
Unfortunately no. It just freezes up when I try a master reset.
Okey. Since MR is not an option, I would try multiple consecutives soft resets, 3 or 4 of them and check again. You need to make enough room to process an update to leave that build.
Also, are you a car play user?.
If so, can you disable it on the unit?
I have android auto, but I will try and disable it. Then I will try 4 soft resets in a row.

I tried that but it did not seem to make a difference.
Other than trying to jailbreak the unit, I’m out of ideas. I assume you have already read the discussion about this issue, so if no other ideas are contained there, it seems you are stuck until some space is made in the rwdata partition.
See if you can get the master reset not to hang by preceding it with two soft resets, ie. SR, SR, MR, SR, SR, interrogator.
I have tried 2 soft resets then master. I have also tried the interrogator, then master. Neither seem to work.
I have read the discussions on here. I’ll be honest, computers are not my strong point and a lot of the terms on here are foreign to me. I am fairly good at following instructions and making a go at trying to fix this programing issue.
Yeah, but the thing is that all the known methods to clear enough data to get out of your current dead lock are discussed there… If for some reason none of those work ok your case, I’m not really sure how to proceed.

How are you using the Syn3 Updater? Autoinstall or Reformat? After performing 2 soft reboots you should be able to reformat the unit as long as it is NOT MY20+. If it is MY20+, the only way out is to run the scripting via Jailbreak.
Ok j’ai la solution, il faut télécharger la version plus haute, pas le choix. Ou télécharger 3.3910,une ancienne version. (sans les cartes), puis retelecharger la version. autre que celle avec les problèmes. Bonne chance.
