SYNC 3 Flicker and black screen issue

I haven’t solved this problem for 8 months, After a rainy day my screen started to fail with flickering and a dark screen,
the radio, the carplay and the rear camera works
I replaced the screen and the problem continued, I also replaced the apim circuit and it did not solve the problem. I replaced the battery because it’s old, I don’t know if that could be it. i also replaced the lvds cable.
in fordsan i have the b108e display code
my car comes with the sync 1 4´ so i put a conversion to a sync 3 8´
my apim model is JS7T-14G371-JED
I hope you can help me
heres a video of my problem and sorry for my bad english i used the translator

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

Update Method: Official Ford

Lets start with what year/model is it installed in?
A flickering screen issue on a Kuga/Escape/Focus/Fiesta isn’t unusual on the on a 4" to 8" mod and can vary by Sync built version.
Did you try replacing the sunload sensor at the front of the dash?

Have you tried with holy water, garlic and maybe a cross?.

Joking aside, I really doubt that’s software based… It’s rhythmic, it’s like breathing, like something is just dying… What’s really odd is that the change in brightness is completely smooth, which kinda makes me thing the light sensor could not even do that, even if it could…

I’m just guessing here because I’ve never seen a screen do that… But that looks like something is dying…

So the only thing left to change is the APIM, right?.

2015 Mustang is what his profile says.

Doing a little bit of a hunt on a code shows it can be either a bad APIM GPU or a bad digitizer on the screen.

Yes, im going to order all the apim, what do you recomend me?, do i should buy all the apim with the screen or only the apim, i have 1 screen left

I would not get a MY20 if possible, so that’s generally J and K series APIM…
But always double check with our SYNC 3 APIM Hardware Database - CyanLabs first…
APIMS are basically interchangeable, so if you already changed the screen and the issue remains, by changing the APIM it should work with both screens…
Also, make sure you save your current asbuilt values so that the new one can be reprogrammed with your car’s specifics

I was seeing that most of the apim come from China, are they reliable?

No, they are not.
Try getting one from a respectable seller and check their return policy just in case they are fake or do not work…

You can also consider contacting Naviupgrades since you are NA based…

Chinese APIMs are just repurposed Tamagotchi

Where can i find a reliable apim?
