Hello guys I need some information please….I have a ford transit custom 2019 and I buy a 12” screen apim sync 4 and hvac module (climate controls) from ford transit 2025…now everything works nice and smooth but the heating seats doesn’t come up on the screen and I know need to add on the apim but the apim give me an error in forscan UNABLE TO READ DTC…I can’t go to configuration the apim,delete the profile and then no apim anymore….any ideea? Thanks
You have lots of DTC’s that indicate IPC and HVAC issues. Obviously things are not working smoothly. You need to address these individually. Probably best to head over to the Transit.org site and ask.
Yes you right but all that errors is not from apim….I need to access apim to activate the heating seats that’s HVAC and bdycm they’re all my lights change with led bulbs and ipc I have change the instrumental cluster….I just need to access the apim that’s all…thank you
You might get the icons for control in Sync but it probably won’t work due to all the DTC issues…
did you make a new profile in FORScan with the Sync 4 unit installed in the vehicle?
Yes I did and try different laptop to still and no apim
You might need to use another profile that has Sync 4, if that exists for an EU Transit. You would use that only for the APIM and have your present profile for the rest of the modules. This is a common occurance with Sync 4 upgrades.
