My sync4 retrofit has just one problem left that I really need help with.
The sync4 reverts to the settings page when my truck hits 40mph or above. I cant keep my maps or infotainment like AA to stay on the screen.
I have been working on this issue for nearly a month now and almost ready to rip the thing out.
I need suggestions of where to look. Is the apim going into some kind of fallback mode?
Im not looking for spoon fed help. Im quite capable of diagnosing and know my way around forscan. I just need to know what issues would cause this.

What system did you have before the upgrade: 4", 8", SYNC 2, SYNC 3, etc.?

Original from infotainment. Kit is the apim, acm kl3t-18d832-fg, infotainment custom acm cable.
Right now im using the orignal sync3 acm.
Im wanting to know a couple things
- can i successfully get this working correctly with forsan edits or is it going to need flashed?
- Is there a asbuilt dump from a working sync4 retrofit 2016?
- Will the acm FG work in my truck. I have a sony system and doner truck was B&O. I dont get audio with it. The current acm is ok for now. I have HD radio. No presets.
- The apim starts up in xm preview when starting. Won’t remember last source..
Im experienced with forscan and can provide additional information.
The speed based fallback is driving me crazy..
