I’m looking for a TCU to retrofit into a 2013 fusion hybrid. I’ve seen a lot of h series from fusions that don’t have a visible antenna connector. Does anyone know if these work? Is there a connector underneath the plastic casing?
This is one of the TCUs that I’m referring to.
That definitely looks like the old 3G TCU. Same size and shape as the one pulled out of my C-Max when I upgraded. The lack of antenna connector would also be a giveaway of this. Of all the discussions surrounding the Ford 4G TCU’s they all have external antenna connectors as best I can tell.
That TCU is no longer supported by Ford or the wireless network.
