On the dashboard the average fuel was 9.6 km/l and when I reset it and drove for some time it became 7.5 km/l. But the next time I started the car, it always reverted to the old figure of 9.6 km/l.
Same as average speed.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thanks.
2 things come up for this on a Google search:
- Disconnect the battery for 15-20 minutes and then reconnect. Drive the vehicle for a bit, like 10 minutes or so, then see if the problem repeats.
- You need a firmware update for the IPC. That would require a trip to Ford service.
