I’ve not been able to reproduce this error connecting the phone while the engine was running. It does not matter if the screen is on or off.
Not really worth it to keep testing when it fails since I’ve already found a way for it not to fail.
And I’ve also learned that if I want to “slowly” charge the phone, I need to connect the phone while its screen is off. If the screen is on, the phone will charge normally.
