I have a 2020 F250 vin 1FT7W2B6XLEC84271 with the 4.2" screen. We were having problems with the reverse cam and the driver ordered an aftermarket android head unit to replace the entire radio with thinking that would fix it, it did not. i found and repaired the wiring damage, still didnt work even with the factory parts. i was able to enable wifi updates and update sync in the truck directly, and then the reverse camera started working again.
I then reinstalled the aftermarket radio to try it, no cam, put factory parts back, no cam again, it seems the aftermarket radio pushes some kind of coding modification, and now that sync is up to date, it wouldnt let me update again which was the fix last time. So i download the syn3 software and enter the version that it had been updated to (i foolishly didnt record it) and then tried to manually install with the usb. it worked, but it seems the display thinks its a larger one since i only see the top left portion of the larger display. I searched all over this forum, found multiple links and talks about how the file should be around 400mb for the smaller screen, and how to free up space, and ive tried all of it, no matter what it always displays the same corner of sceeen. ive followed along with the as built data changes, everything looks to be correct, tried changing theme with no change, changed settings in fcim to match etc. no idea where to go from here, just tried downgrading and then installing 3.319052 with no change
