Hey guys, so I ended up getting another transit, this time a 2015 with the base AM/FM radio. My itch to retrofit sync 3 into this van hasn’t gone away since my last transit (2019 with that tiny sync display). I just purchased everything to retrofit sync 3 into this van including the APIM, touchscreen, ACM (all came out the same transit thankfully), and I ordered the necessary hazard + buttons (FCIM i believe).
so now my only hurdle is the wiring diagrams, which i cannot seem to find anywhere at all.. I do retrofits on BMW’s non stop for the past 9 years so wiring is fun for me I just need to gain access to diagrams somehow, I know I need to create a harness between the ACM and APIM for some stuff, and I suppose I repin the speaker outs currently in the van to the ACM harness correct? eventually i’m adding in the OEM reverse cam and microphone as well
