2016 Ford Escape. Error in TAR.GZ

Update seemed ro be going well. Red screen popped up with a fill red bar (Error in 4UST-14G4Z1-CBF_1683461295000.TAR.GZ)

What do I do now? Not sure if I can stop it or should let it run , or shut the car off? What now?

Syn3 Updater Log File

No access, drive still in car

Does not matter, once a red screen is hit the process is aborted.

That’s a map, yet you said the unit is no nav, so you configured Syn3updater incorrectly.
Recreate the USB after making the proper changes in configuration.

That’s not an excuse, the log is on your computer as well.

Sorry, my computer is 1/2 an hour away.

We are going to go buy a new drive and try again. We pulled the drive out and it seems to start the process over and ask for the drive, so maybe we will get somewhere that way. I wont be on the same computer.

Thanks for responding so quickly!

If the unit is no nav but you created a nav USB, it will never work. So confirm that.

Hey all,

Special thank you to SaNdMaN!!

Errantly included Nav the first time. Remade the disk and worked like a charm!
