FORScan is identifying your vehicle as a hybrid vehicle, it is misleading…
Where is it saying it is a hybrid? The tab I have open in the back for this forum says hybrid but the top bar of the FORScan window says turbocharged
Sorry, that was it…
I did try changing from B142 to B162 based on the info in the database and the post above for the CGEA 1.3 vs 1.2 but I didn’t notice any difference. It is also odd to me that the Lincoln app shows the last update for the info on the odometer and fuel page as Dec 31st
Where did you get this TCU?
Did you set the first line of the asbuilt to 754-01-01 B100 xx to force an unprovisioned factory mode?
I got it on eBay. I did not set that line. I did the firmware update then checked the PIDs which looked like the following image.
I did not change the AB because it was already in the wait for authorize mode. I was then able to reset the apim and re-add my vin to initiate the activation which seemed to work right away without issue
I can try starting over by putting it into factory mode like you suggest if you think that may be the issue
It’s probably waiting for authorization from the original vehicle. That is why the data shows an old date.
Yep.
Placing the unit in factory mode breaks the VIN connection…
Ok I will go try this right now and see what happens. I assume I need to remove the car from the app again as well correct?
YEP. The whole thing. Remember to reboot you phone once you remove the app.
Ok I will update you shortly! Thank you for your help!
So I put in B100 but my AUTHSTATE value never says factory mode. It only shows wait for authorization
It is working! For some reason it took a lot longer for the network identity and country identity fields to populate. Thank you sooo much for your help!
