2017 explorer piu. Had the 4.5 non sync radio. I have upgraded to sync 3. Few issues I’m having first being i have no temp controls. I can hit the button on the fcdim and it will come up on the screen but there no indication of temp and it won’t change the blend door position. I’ve change all the setting i can find related to auto climate, single zone etc. nothing seams to fix it.
The other issue i seam to be having is i have a paid extended version of forscan with the obdlinkex cable. There is no options that come up to program modules. I believe the first problem is related to the strategy being wrong with the fcdim and not allowing it to talk to the hvac module through the gate way. I also do not have the fcdim show up as an and options to change any data either.
Just looking for some direction as i am new to this platform and have done a decent amount of research but still not coming up with a fix.
APIM Oh yea you got a ton of AB wrong on it. LOL, This must be the original AB? The first byte says you have the Sony AMP DSP and we know that is wrong. That needs to be change from an A to a 0.
Here is the database for values. The easiest way to fix this is go through and set these values accordingly.
You can also get the VIN to a 2017 XLT that had nav and use the settings for that. These will be pretty close. You can put the VIN in the link below for the AB list to copy.
Used a vin off a xlt i found on co part, still no temp control. i can physically hit the button watching the blendoor and it will not move but will move when shutting off the car and turning it on. it physically shows the box on the screen but no digits
