I just purchased the car and the backup camera is unstable.
The screen goes out randomly (muticolored stripes) and usually comes back after about 5 restarts.
Searches say to update for more stability.

Searches say to update for more stability.

That would be advisable. You can safely update to Sync 3.0.23219 or go to Sync 3.4, depending on your desires. As far as the camera, the MKX tailgate is probably leaking inside the hatch and has affected the camera. Common issue with this model.

Thanks for the suggestion I updated to Sync 3.0 successfully and will live with it for a while. If all is good I’ll just stick with it. Thanks again!
