I have a 2019 F350 with Sync 3. My Version is 3.0 Build 23219. When I check on Fords website using my VIN it tells me my software is up to date, but I thought there was a version 3.3 put out by Ford some time ago. Can I get Version 3.3 here, or do I need to go on to Version 3.4 from CyanLabs?
Also, I have Navigation, will 3.4 include an update to my Maps? I recently got an email from Ford stating there is a Map update available (NA 2024).
Lastly, will I be able to update using a MacBook Air? What, if any, issues might I expect?
SYNC Region: NA
Navigation Variant: Nav
Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20
Install Type: OEM
Old SYNC Version: 3.0.23219
New SYNC Version: 3.0.23219
Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
None
That is the latest version for your APIM from Ford. You can goto 3.4 with the newest maps by using Cyanlabs as long as you know your APIM has never been replaced with a 2020+ version. Also if you do use this to update Ford will never recognize it past what you have now since you are outside of your update path.

3.4 will not include a map update as that is not what it is. You can select a map version to install along with 3.4 but it will involve a format and you need to make sure you do not have a 2020+ APIM or you will brick it.
I also got the map update email and the 2.24 maps have been out since March or longer.
Thanks for the quick response!
My truck is a 2019 bought in March of 2019, so I shouldn’t have to worry about having a 2020+ APIM. I’ve never had an issue with the entertainment system, so everything is stock.
What about doing this upgrade with a MacBook Air? Is that doable?
