Added dual climate control

I’ve tried researching this subject and haven’t found a definitive answer yet.
I have 2019 f150 XLT and added dual climate control. I realize that the dual control would not work so it’s not a big deal. The issue is that I have lost my factory heated seats. Someone said I would need to add a new module but if I had it before why is it not working now.
Thanks

Huh?

Changing the module will do nothing. You can set the dual option in any module and it would work as far as settings go. The problem is that the HVAC units are not made with the correct door in them to split the sides. This means they do not have the correct Servo to change that door or the wiring to the servo.

You have to replace unit or add the door which would require removal of the dash and disassembly of the HVAC system. If it is that important to you than yes it could be done but it is a major project.

I’m not worried about the climate control I was asking about my heated seats. They worked before the change but now they don’t work. Someone on here had said that you have to change a module out to get heated seats to work again. I don’t understand why they don’t work.

I believe the HVAC module for a 2019 F150 is part of the FCIM-B? Maybe @F150Chief can confirm this. Did you replace this?

HVAC = FCIM for F-150 2015+

Do you have FORScan? If you used the ‘easy’ menu this probably happened. Can you post the as-built for your FCIM?

Will that be in FORScan to find that?

Yes
