After installing SYNC 3.4.22110 ANZ Spotify not showing albums/songs covers

After installing SYNC 3.4.22110 ANZ Spotify not showing albums/songs covers, I paired my iPhone with bluetooth, everything works fine, I can listen the music, see the title, artist etc but I can’t see the cover of the song playing. (I could with my previous version 3.0.17276)

The only error I had during installation is the following:

“error in 4u5t-14g423-bc 1615425978000.tar.gz”

But I solved it by removing GraceNotes from the reformat.lst file. Other than that, everything works fine.

Is it something that can be solved? I mean the cover not showing on Spotify.

Spotify relies on the Gracenote file you did not install for the album art. Since you have a NON-NAV APIM, you have very limited space and cannot install Gracenote with Sync 3.4 and the larger voice files. If you install the North American voice file for Sync (5U5T-14G391-CR), you will be able to install the NA Gracenote file (4U5T-14G423-CC). This will only allow English, Spanish, or French. Otherwise, there is not a solution to the issue.

Hi, thanks for the answer. I have a couple of questions:

  1. If I install the North American voice file for Sync (5U5T-14G391-CR) it means the voice in the car and all the settings will be in english?

  2. How do I install the North American voice file for Sync ([5U5T-14G391-CR]??

  3. How do I install after the NA Gracenote file (4U5T-14G423-CC)?

  1. English, Spanish, or French.
  2. Use Syn3 Updater to install the NA voice file in autoinstall mode.
  3. Same as 2, but you have to install the NA voice file first, then install the GN file.
    OR
    Use Syn3 Updater to reformat and install the files at once. This is the easier way…

Thanks a lot. One more question though, in “install mode” I have to change it to “reformat” or should I keep it with " Autodetect"?
