Ambient lighting suddenly stopped working

Hi, I will apologise now for my limited knowledge of cars lol. I have a 2018 Ford Kuga Vignale. Said car has sync 3 and running on 3.0.20204 build, 1.1.1.1127. The ambient lighting was working fine, then all a sudden stopped. When you open the doors it no longer turns red or lights up. I have located the fuse under the glove box and it looked fine but changed it anyways just to be sure. I also disconnected the battery for 30 min to see if that would reboot so to speak and work, again this done nothing. I have went over forumns and tried to figure this out but I am at a loss. Can anyone help? as I cant for the life of me figure it out.

SYNC Region: EU

Navigation Variant: Nav

Manufacturer Year: Pre MY20

Install Type: OEM

Old SYNC Version: 3.0.20204

New SYNC Version: 3.0.20204

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

Update Method: Official Ford

Does the interior light still work? Is there a button on the interior light to toggle the ambient light. Is the main light switch set on Auto?

The Ambient lighting originates from the BCM in 2018. If it is not lighting when you open the car door than you may have an issue with an AB setting, Wiring to the BCM or the BCM itself.

Do you use Forscan?

The ambient lighting works off coloured sliders from the sync 3. There are no others buttons or controls for it. All interior lights work. The only thing that has stopped working are the coloured ambient lighting, which was on the door handles, footwells and across the glove box & cup holders. When you opened any door the ones on the inside door handles tuned red which no longer light either.

I have not used Forscan, sorry I dont know what that is. All lighting on the car works. Ihave not had any problems with the car itself, lighting or otherwise. The only thing that has all of a sudden stopped working is the ambient lighting and it changing colour when a door was opened, that has stopped working completely. It gave no warning of any kind it just stopped.

Thank you for the help. It has suddenly started working again and the only thing I done was move the back seat then put it back up, so maybe a loose connection?. I’m on the hunt for wiring now. Thankyou for the help. I appreciate it
