Android Auto not available Sync 2 to Sync 3 Upgrade

Upgraded my Sync 2 to Sync 3 on my 2015 Focus ST. Donor unit came from a 2016 Focus RS. Original build on it 1.0.15139. Upgraded to 3.4 using cyanlabs update tool. GPS module, USB hub, and adapter cable have all been replaced via Naviupgrade. More than one USB cord has been tried. Updated asbuilt and programing to 2017 focus ST with all the same options my car had, only difference being Sync 3 and AA compatibility. Still no AA. I found a post that said if you skip the V 2.2 step you may not get AA/CP since that is when they enabled the feature originally and Ford more than likely planned on updates being iterative so it caused issues. Found this thread 2016 Mustang Sync3 1.0 updated to 3.0 and no Apple Carplay! - #8 by SaNdMaN that referred to downgrading from 3.XX to 2.2 and then back up to 3.0, however, I keep getting PKG_ERR04 when trying to roll back software.

Having difficulty finding any other resources to roll back and try to pick up AA. Anyone else solved this issue?

Update Method: Official Ford

first you can’t rollback from 3.4 to 3.0, it says that in the docs.

Post the current AB in the APIM, it doesn’t matter that the APIM came from another Focus, some values may not be the same since you’re putting this in a non-Sync3 native car.

Where did you get the USB hub from?

What quality is the USB cable? Some of the cables only have the charging wire, not the data wires.
