Is there any likelihood of Ford providing a Sync3 update after 3.4.22251 with latest maps ?

Maps and Sync updates are separate. The new China version is out for maps so the rest will follow at some point. So far no new Sync version but Ford does not talk about that.

Sync 3 and maps will be updated as needed for a while yet. Ford supported Sync 2 for about 5-6 years after it’s demise, and will likely do the same for Sync 3. Sync 2 maps are still regularly updated.
