Any recommendations where to purchase a new apim sync 3 module? I see them on Amazon and eBay for about $400 but they kind of look sketchy.

We can’t really recommend retailers for obvious reasons, but if it says China or there are misspellings on the labels or adds, disregard those.
2016 G series are not desired. What you want to look for is a Jxxx or Kxxx series APIM, manufactured in 2018 or 2019. These are very reliable and can be programmed with the latest software and firmware.

You can get these units not programmed and do it yourself. Which you will most likely need to do anyways…
As far as the APIM programming, all the info you will need is here on the site. It is much more complete than the image you posted.
