APIM year 2022 not working after reformating tool

Hello. while upgrading to 23288 F13 Maps, I made a mistake, with another USB pendrive, so I installed the reformating tool, an now the screen is full black ( also the backlight if off)

The APIM module is recognized by forscan and i can reprogram it, but I dont know how to restore It. Anyone can help me? of course i will pay for it.

Hello.

A possible recovery method is using GitHub - bigunclemax/sync3flash: Ford Sync 3 reformat flash tool. But, that’s not for the average user since it requires equipment and knowledge.

Other than doing that (or having someone else do it), consider the unit dead and start looking for a replacement.

Thanks a lot for the information. It seems to be too much difficult for me.
Is there anybody available to do the service? i would send the unit by post and pay what for the service.

You can try @NaviUpgrade and see if he can do it for you. I believe it’s a service he offers.

He does, but he’s NA based and the OP is EU based…
I would think the overall cost would not make it worth it…
