Are Splash Screens Replaced upgrading from 3.0 to 3.4?

Hi, im about to upgrade my 2017 Focus ST (Europe) from 3.0 to 3.4, but i wanted to know if the upgrade will remove the ST splash/Boot screen?

You will likely need to change the theme to MY20 for the shutdown animation to work, the splash screen will remain the same though, ForScan or UCDS can be used to change the theme.

Thanks, so does this mean if i install 3.4 using the default options i may lose the shutdown animation but not the boot up ST screen?

Yes, but this is due to Ford changing stuff in 3.4, you can get the shutdown animation back with ForScan.

I changed the boot splash screen to Raptor Performance 3.4 and changed theme to MY20 8" via FORscan, but the shutdown splash screen is still “FORD” oval.

Theme:
00=Ford MY20 (6.5"/8" Screens), Old Ford Classic, in 3.4 sets Ford MY20 theme with custom Boot Screen.
