Audio bug on sync 3.4 using usb drive

Since i bought the veichle i had an audio bug when using usb stick to play music. Every now and then, the system seems to lag and the song skips 1/2 seconds forward. this is driving me nuts. Do you have any solutions? I know im not the only one encountering this bug, i tried everything i found on the internet but nothing worked. The only thing that actually worked was using cynlabs program downgrading the version to 3.3. I tried even different 3.4 versions thanks to the program but none worked. Pls help me

Did you try a different USB stick? What format are your music files in?

i tried every sort of usb sticks, even buying newer and better ones and trying different solutions, such as different ports or using adapters. I tried also ntfs and fat32. The music format is mp3. the point is that the same usb stick i used on my old Fiat punto worked just fine. and it was surely an older system. it has to have something to do with graphics struggle or something, cause 3.3 that looks way simpler has no problem whatsoever. thats my opinion of course…i dont actually know. also thank you for the fast attention

Try formatting as exFat
Did you do a master reset after the update?

I did master resets on many of the attempts but not always just because I would become crazy since I seriously tried a lot of the versions present in cyanlabs app. Those times I tried to reset, it didn’t work out. Sometimes the bug seems to be mitigated, but after some days the bug always returned. So seriously nobody of you encountered this problem? Do you use USB sticks to play music? It would be crazy that I’m the only one, since we maybe used the same program at least once to update the car, cause I’m sure it has to be with the used version of sync. Otherwise why 3.3 does work fine. I don’t think they changed how the software manages things, but the graphics changed so maybe the CPU struggles with something

I know it’s probably no help but to answer your question I have over 2,000 songs formatted mp3 on a USB stick and they have all played fine over many updates through Cyanlabs including the latest one 3.4.23188.

It’s an extremely well known bug for 3.4s, it’s been present for ages now, so chances are it’s never going to be fixed. People say it’s better on the latest builds, but not 100% fixed.

You can try installing 3.3.19xxx, it’s the closest to 3.0 in both look&feel and functionality. Scratch that, you have already tried it and it fixes things, as expected…

So yeah, you do not have much to try, honestly… it’s a well known 3.4 bug that some encounter/notice.

Thank you for your attention. I kinda agree with what your saying, I’m convinced I will never find a workaround. But if someone had my same problem pls reach me. Anyway do someone of you have any information about new update for 3.4.x cooking? I found nothing about it

Not really, 3.4 is super stable as it is… We may see a new build, but days of multiple builds a year have passed…
