Backup camera

I installed sync 3.4 on my 2017 Ford F150 in 2018 and everything has worked just fine till a few weeks ago and my backup camera started having issues and not working right. The screen is fuzzy and has lines in it and comes and go’s black… I bought a new camera and it does the same thing. I have tried to reinstall the original program back in the truck but it is giving me an error . I thought about doing a total reset but am affraid it will mess everything up. Any advice. Thanks

Do you have ForScan so that you can run the re-calibration procedure for the new camera?

Yes I have ForScan but will have to learn how to re-calibrate it. Thanks

Yes I have done every thing from buying a new camera to re wiring and nothing has worked so I am going to take it to my Ford dealership and let them check it out.

You need to install the new camera and then perform a new hardware or LIN calibration. This is in FORScan, the troubleshooting tools page.
