Hello im trying to update the firmware on my Ford Focus 2012 TCM and retrain it in hopes of it not sticking between 1st and 2nd gear. Im not sure if it was done when the transmission was replaced.
If youāve had a gearbox or clutch pack replaced it should have been retrained. Sometimes you just have to drive it like you stole it as well as drive like ya nan
It doesnāt need to update HCM FW on adaptive bi-xenon upgrade.
You should foce HCM in Alignment And Calibration mode, and follow the instruction,

Probably a long shot but Iām curious if anyone has leads on the Focus Mk3 CCM calibration files. The current Part # I have documented is BV6T-14B588-BF.
I was able to track down some of the files, but not all. These are the ones I have now:
AG9N-14C175-BA
BV6T-14C173-BC
BV6T-14C411-BA
But supposedly there should be the following with that as well which Iām missing and havenāt been able to surface:
BV6T-14C172-BF
Likewise if thereās any leads on the calibration files for the actual radar module (on the Mk3 apparently this was separate from the CCM which sits inside the cabin), thatād be super helpful. The one part # Iāve been able to find for this is BV6T-9G853-BA
Iāve been slowly digging in to seeing if I can get adaptive cruise retrofitted to my '13 C-Max. The BCM seems to have the option for it and rightfully complains about not having a CCM to communicate with when enabled. Havenāt had a chance to check the ABS module yet for the necessary options but hopefully that exists. I have a clone UCDS adapter coming in that will hopefully let me check the Direct Config stuff.
But I managed to track down a cheap CCM from Land Rover/Jaguar and based purely on a visible inspection it appears to be identical to the Ford module and some LR forum discussions leads to some information indicating for the applicable models there that they share a similar configuration/calibration architecture to the Focus. With all of my Google-Fu exhausted, seems like nobody has tried to reflash one of these, though the old Mk3 setup seemed to be rare to begin with. But there are plenty of examples of people using radar modules from other makes such as Volvo and flashing Ford firmware successfully so the CCM potentially applies as well. And the price was cheap enough that I was willing to gamble on the attempt.

If I replace the file 1U5T-14G374-DA with the file 1U5T-14G374-EH manually nothing bad will happen? Is it possible to change one file?
What feature are you trying to get to work? I can tell you that not one feature in the 7D0-09 blocks will work in a Flex. They are a CGEA 1.2 network and these features are not built into the module calibrations.
Hello. Please advise calibration for part # DB5T-14D212-AE. I was thinking about making the following firmware D1BT-14D544-AZ, E1BT-14D544-AZ. I couldnāt find the files. If you can, tell me which ones are better to install and if you can, share the files. Iāve been racking my brains for 2 weeks now on how to do this. Thank you
