First thing, restore the APIM to the original firmware.
DO NOT upgrade the firmware again until you update the Sync app to version 2.2.17101 or after. This is not mandatory, but you will have better success with the firmware updates.
Once that is done you can update the firmware to:
3.0 APIM NAV & NON-NAV Unit Firmware (Production Release, 2017-Pre-2018.5, H thru Early J Series)

Its a Nav unit, North America, etc
so thats what im basing my information off of, I cannot find a place to download the calibration files for this anywhere, Motorcraftservice doesnt show them under the download like PCM files do, wondering if you might be able to help, you seem damn good at this from what ive been reading.

Here is the download page for Ford calibration files. If it does not come up than maybe F150Chief will have it or it has been superceeded.
Thanks for the info, the apim wouldn’t let me upload the original firmware I did some experimenting and was able to get it to turn on using a calibration file that started with h5gt and then it let me upload the original firmware. Thank u very much for the info it did help in getting working again
Yes sir I tried via the calibration file Downloader on motorcraftservice and it said “request failed” for each one, I use it frequently for PCM or PSCM modules with IDS.
But nothing for the APIM codes.
Hopefully someone has em downloaded
