I want to upgrade my Sync 3.0 to 3.4 but sync updater tells my that my APIM is JR3T-14G371-FFB. Is it possible to upgarde? My Mondeo is from 2019. I’ve checked also in service menu my apim and there is Assembly part number JR3T-14G371-FFB and IVSU JR3T-14G381-AY

You can use the FMODS path even with a MY2020 APIM, Cyanlabs does not support using that method.
Just in case it was not clear: you can’t use Syn3updater to upgrade.

Look for a video by Naviupgrade, its a pretty good step by step to jail breaking (which is a pre-req) and then running the FMODS universal reformatter

THis is only about maps upgarde, but i want to upgrade my sync 3.0 to 3.4
To go from 3.0 to 3.4 you have to reformat the APIM which means you lose the maps that are on it, even if you could do an install without a reformat you can’t run 3.0 maps on a 3.4 APIM.
Bigger question is why do you want to go to 3.4?
You won’t gain any functionality without updating the firmware/calibration on the APIM (as well as possibly other modules in the car), all you basically get is a prettier interface as well as possibly some compatibility issues (going to 3.4 from 3.0 due to the other modules in the car, if this were in PC terms you’re loading Windows 11 on Windows 7 hardware).
The last release of 3.0 and the last release of 3.4 came out just about a month apart.
