Can't install map updates after latest SYNC 3.4 update 23188

I downloaded build 23188 with map updates, and the installation on my 2017 F150 ran fine. After it was finished and I restarted, the screen reports that I am on 3.4.23188, but the maps are 2.22. I tried downloading an update to the 2024 maps only, but when I try to install them I get Error Code: SIGN_ERR01. I re-formatted the flash drive to get rid of everything, re-ran the download, and I still get the same error. Shouldn’t the map version be higher than that?

2.22 is the latest maps release, 2022.

As previously said, 2.22 are the latest…
But, why are you installing a custom map package?

Also, the autoinstall.lst file you provided states there should be 3 reboots for the maps to install, you only mentioned a single restart. What’s the deal?, did you let the process to finish?. You can create an interrogator log and run it against the unit to see what packages are installed.

Did you reformat the unit before using the provided autoinstall.lst file ?

Finally, get a proper and decent USB device.

It took about an hour to prepare the USB, that does not scream quality…

USB 2.0 tells ya all you need to know about why it took forever :sweat_smile:

@steveryba if you need to do this again, I’d highly recommend getting a newer USB drive like a SanDisk Extreme. It’ll cut down on the time it takes to create and perform the install.

Do you know that slow and cheap USB devices can lead to SIGN errors ?
On top of that, we already had reported issues with PNY devices.

You did, but didn’t say how you upgraded and I’m playing a guessing game as to why are you redoing everything if “everything went fine”. You are not explaining why you are using a cutdown map version either.
