Carplay audio issues with Bluetooth connectivity

I just updated to Sync 3.4 last night on a 2018 Ford Expedition. I have a Luckymore BT adapter that I have been using for about a year with no issues. After the Sync update, Carplay connects thru the Luckymore adapter as usual. However, when I attempt to play a podcast or Apple Music thru the Carplay app, it shows that it is playing, but the audio does not automatically switch sources from AM/FM or Siruis. Attempts to manually change the source fail. To troubleshoot, I disconnected the BT adapter and connected my iPhone via cable to the vehicle and Carplay works as normal by automatically switching sources.

Has anyone experienced this or have a fix?

Check with Luckymore for a fix.
Since the phone works correctly when connected directly its not a Sync3 issue, its with the adapter’s attempt to emulate a connection.
