CDIM module headache need firmware + security access help
I’ve swapped out the FCDIM module and now I’m stuck. I can’t change the VIN, and I can’t find any firmware updates for it. Tried putting the old module back in, but the VBF files won’t download — just says “not available.”
Module shows these firmware options:

• Current: GK2T‑18B955‑DA

• Available: GK2T‑18B955‑DA / C1BT‑14D356‑DC / AM5T‑14D360‑DA / GK2T‑14D358‑DA

• lоаder: AM5T‑14D360‑DA

• (F188): GK2T‑14D358‑DA
On top of that, when I try to write As‑Built, it fails with:

“Gain security access failed – security key wrong.”
So at the moment I’m locked out of VIN writing and firmware flashing.
Does anyone have these VBF files or know what’s causing the security access failure?

You will need help from the Forscan group for this.

Check you adapter firmware for the latest update and compatibility with FORScan to write firmware. You also need a paid license for FORScan support.
