Changed Theme but now steering wheel controls no longer work!

Hi All… Hoping someone can help…

2017 Kuga ST-LineX

I have used FORScan to update my sync 3 system to use the following values which i got from this page: Sync 3 APIM Database - CyanLabs

Splash Screen - Boot Screen Animations Sync Version 3.4
DE01/7D0-02-01: xxxx-**xx-xxxx
0B=ST (Ford Performance)

Theme - Visual Themes Sync Version 3.4
DE02/7D0-03-01: xxxx-**xx-xxxx
Master Lincoln Theme - 7D0-01-02: 8xxx xxxx xxxx
03=Lincoln MY20

I made this change last week and everything else seems to be working fine however I noticed today that my steering wheel controls no longer work! Do I need to make any further changes to make them work or is this a consequence for using the Lincoln theme?

Sorry for long post! Any help appreciated!

If you haven’t made any changes over the last 2 years and everything worked until now, odds are you have a bad steering wheel switch pack.

So, you do not know when they stopped working.
I do not see how these values could be related to your issue.

If you suspect you changed something else by mistake, you can always download your original asbuilt again (I got your unit came with Sync3).

I dont know for sure, but they were working fine before that as i used them all the time

So I have fixed this, I tired changing back to the ford theme and ford logo but the steering wheel controls still didn’t work.
I tried googling what steering wheel control settings I could change but it was a dead end.
In the end I noticed there was a “Load Factory” button which downloaded a file and I wrote this to the car and boom steering wheel controls back!
I then set the Lincoln theme again and all is now working fine :slight_smile:

Makes sense, that’s why I said this before :point_down:
