When I call people or receive calls people say that they can hear their voice, but when I take it off Bluetooth they don’t hear it anymore.
I have a Pixel 6 Pro with android 12.

I’m not an expert with Android or Android Auto, but try this:
On your phone, unpair the vehicle, delete the profile from the phone. Reboot the phone. (This clears the old cache.)
Perform a master reset in Sync. Once the unit reboots completely, about 3-5 minutes, check that there are no phones added to the system.
Now pair your phone with the system via Bluetooth. Do not connect your phone to the USB ports at this time.
Once the phone is finished pairing with Sync and the contacts are downloaded (or not if desired), power cycle Sync. (Turn off the ignition and open the door. Wait for the car to shut down.)
No turn on the vehicle and see what your results are by calling someone.
