Enabling Park Assist in Sync 3 (For those that have done a Sync 2 > Sync 3 Upgrade)

Mine does exactly the same after updating Sync 1 to Sync 3 in my 2014 Focus Titanium. Did you end up resolving this??

Sync 1? Did you mean Sync with My Ford?

Original sync. When I did my conversion the tutorial was titled Sync 1 to Sync 3.

I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone getting this to work on a 2013-2016MY CMax/Focus/Escape/Kuga/MKC.
You’ll get the warning tones from the fore/aft sensors, but the parallel park function has been a no go.

My parking works perfectly it’s just the text on the screen has shifted left during the reversing like the original post I replied to.

2014 Escape TI with a MFT to Sync3 upgrade I was never able to get auto park assist back, still had a good working camera and backup lines.
The overhead graphic would not display, nor would the instructions when the button was pushed.

Another user not long ago on here had a 2013(?) MKC and never got it to work either.
I know Ford did make changes in the Escape after Job1 ended 11/2013, not sure about the Kuga.
The easiest way to tell if you have a pre-Job 2 is that you won’t have the digital speedometer available for the cluster center screen.

Hi, did you manage to make it work? how did you do? I have the same problem as you

Hello. Did you manage to solve the problem with the parking assistant screen moving from the reversing camera view for the changed Sync 2 to Sync 3 in Kuga?

I have a 2013 MKZ Hybrid that I replace MLT with SYNC 3 with Nav. I would like to re-enable the auto park assist and have tried to follow these directions. However, my PAM only has one line of As-Built data. Can this be done, then?

Thank you.

The 2013 for the Fusion/MKZ was a one off year.
Take a look over at 2gfusions.net, its more than likely that you’ll have to load a non-standard firmware built into the PAM.
