Error 5U5T-xxx Update Sync 3.4

Dear Collegues, I am from Argentina and I have been trying update my Sync 3.0 to Sync 3.4 on muy Ford Focus 2017. I did various attemps, first I tried with the version 3.4.22110 (with gracenotes), them the version 3.4.20098 (with gracenotes) and finally with the version 3.4.22110 (without gracenotes). In all attemps it was starting to install sync but allways, after 10 minutes aproximallity, it gave me an error with the beigining code 5U5T-xxx (change becuase the version). Anyone can help to solve this problem? Do you have any tips to give me? Thanks in adavance.

The error you mention is on a red solid screen, right?.
I’d try a different USB or USB port.

Are you sure that your unit is NAV capable? Does it have maps on it before?

Yes, it is a red solid screen. I will try with another pendrive and I will tell you the results.

Yes, Inhave maps in the 3.0 version and the navigation botton on the touch screen.

Hi SaNdMaN, I bougth a new pendrive and I could install Sync 3.4
I have some doubts.
1- After the firt inicialitation I had a messages “Installation Dialed - Error Code: PKG_ERR04” on the blue screen of Sync 3.4. Do you know what is that?
2- I installed the last version 3.4.22110 without gracenotes. What is gracenotes? If I want to install with gracenotes, I have to the same steps?
3- SYnc 3.4 don’t show me in the screen the icon of the climatation. I saw in the videos that this systems has an icon where you can control the climate. Do you know why can´t I see?

You re inserted the usb despite are guide not telling you to. Ignore it.

This needs to be enabled in forscan, this has nothing to do with upgrading to 3.4

No, just configure Syn3Updater with the proper values and keeping maps. You can just install gracenotes.

Yes. It will complaint that you didn’t select other packages, but since you already have an operative Sync3 unit, that’s ok. You.only need to install gracenotes.
