Error code LST_ERR05

Hello, I have EDGE USA 2019 (aktualny Sync 3.4.20136) yesterday I tried to do updates with truncated maps of europe:

However, at the very beginning I got an error “Error code: LST_ERR05”. Now it says after starting SYNC that the update in progress is not complete.

What is the cause of the error? Can you advise something?

To note, we do not support change of region. But this error is:

LST_ERR05 – Error is LST_PKG_FILE_NOT_FOUND

So you have a typo in your lst files or a missing file.

Thanks for the help.
In fact, one file was missing, I do not know how it happened that it was not found on the USB since I was using the Syn3Updater program to create it.
But it’s OK now.

I missed the file responsible for downgrading Sync3 before reinstalling.
It’s the GB5T-14G386-SC_85041.tar.gz file.

If you say something more about your installation, I will be happy to help. What Sync version do you have now and how the USB is prepared.

Also check if you have the 1u5t-14g386-cb.tar.gz file, because it happens that SYN3 UPDATER does not copy these two files to the USB drive.

My car is an 18 plate Kuga with Sync 3.0 installed. 64 gig stick which I formatted and its exFat. Copied everything across, stick it in car, says software update, asks to go ahead, I click yes then get same screen as you saying ERR 05.

If you are using the Syn3 Updater, look on the usb root for a file called log.txt and post the file or contents here.

I can see that you are installing from version: 3.4.20136 Region: EU with navigation.
And not as you wrote that you have 3.0. Enter what version you have on your Sync now because the installation process depends on it.
