Hello, i tried to install 3.4/23188/F12 to a 3.0.19205 system but when installing the came an error, with red screen.
Tried severall solutions but APIM keeps hanging in the bootmode, also after reset with the buttons.
When there is no USB in the car it says: put USB in for update, when putting the USB is gives an erro after a while: error in 1U5T-14G421-BEK_1682467790000.TAR.GZ:
APIM buildate: 2/22/2018
Does annyone have a sollution to recover this?

What spec USB device are you using, did you try re-creating the USB device you have?

Yes, i have severall USB devices, working OK on other Ford’s

  1. Bad thumb drive or one that needs a normal format rather than a quick to get the bad blocks de-allocated
  2. device plugged into the other USB port, there shouldn’t be anything else plugged in, not even an unused charging cord
  3. Bad USB port, try the other one if you have one.
